2016 Graduation for ECV graphic design students

After 5 years of sweat and tears, highs and lows, and endless hours of perfecting their creative skills, 30 students received their diplomas this 14th June. A final validation of their talents, before heading out into the professional world of art direction, publishing, web development or whatever other graphic design related jobs await them.

Designer David Pearson makes a hit in Nantes

London-based designer David Pearson, renowned on both sides of the Channel and internationally , for his innovative book cover designs, most notably with Penguin and Zulma publishing, was in Nantes last week to reveal a bit more to the initiated and wider public alike.

For students brought up essentially in the digital world, the world of black & white photography is more often than not now, accessed through the conversion filters of Photoshop, and is sought as some kind of creative refuge from the inherent defects of certain colour images.

ECV design school open day

Patrick Hermand, founder director of the ECV schools, came to Nantes on January 24th to officially open the school's new premises there, which coincided with the Open Day preview, exhibiting a high quality selection of the students work across all the years.
